Stand with Suha's Family in Gaza

Hello, my name is Soha. I am a mother of four children: Alaa, Ola, Walaa and Ahmed. Time stopped on 7 October. My family grew up during this war and are now young adults, but in reality they are still children. The two-year war deprived us of everything, most importantly security and shelter. Before 7 October, we lived a simple and beautiful life in our quiet and modest home, where we cherished our beautiful memories. My husband had a beautiful horse named Loz, which he worked with and provided us with our daily sustenance. But suddenly, our whole life, our memories and our dreams were turned upside down. Ola was going to university, Alaa and Walaa were going to school, and Ahmed was helping my husband with his work. (Alaa was studying engineering and needed $2,000 to pay her university fees, $1,000 to buy a phone, and $500 to buy books. Alaa is studying English and needs tuition fees, a phone, and books. Their education has been disrupted because they do not have books, phones, or university fees. I always dream of seeing them at the top of their class. At first, we thought it was thunder and that it would rain, but unfortunately, it was a powerful storm, a painful war that took away what was most precious to us. After one of our relatives was targeted, he was injured and continued to bleed until he died, may God have mercy on him. Shrapnel hit us all over our bodies. The attack took place at night. We waited until morning and fled, dragging our bloodstained clothes behind us. We barely survived amid the bombing and destruction. We left our home and our memories, the home we had spent more than 17 years building. It was bombed on the seventh day of the war. When the truce was announced in December, most people returned to their homes, but we returned to the ruins of our house. We lost our home, our loved ones and our livelihood. Since then, we have suffered one shock after another. My only son, Ahmed, used to go out to get aid to feed his elderly father and brothers, but he was injured several times all over his body and back, so he can no longer go out. Ahmed needs treatment, a thorough examination and X-rays of his entire body. I suffer from hearing loss, which has worsened with the war, and I need a hearing aid. My dream is to hear the beautiful voices of my family clearly. We have been displaced for the thousandth time and have been living in Khan Yunis for six months (with my husband's family, who have many children. They all come to eat at our house, and I cannot even support my family and feed them from my family's food. I wish I had more food to feed them more). We don't have a tent to protect us from the winter cold or the summer heat. We have no food, no drink, not even clothes. Winter is coming, and we need clothes to protect us from the cold. We urgently need a tent. Prices are very high, and we need your help to survive. We need $200 for food, $50 for water every day, and $1,000 for a tent. Our life has become very difficult, and I cannot bear it any longer. Your generosity and kindness will help us survive. Your small donation is not just a monetary gift, it is a lifeline. If you are unable to donate, please share our story with your family, loved ones, and friends. Thank you to everyone who has supported us with a share or a small donation.
