<div>I am starting this to help out a woman I grew up with. We grew up in the tight knit community of Biloxi, Mississippi.

<div> Stephanie was always a great person to be around when we were kids. There are so many crazy stories about things we did, ruckus we caused, and bonds we built.

<div>She's had her ups and downs throughout life, who hasn't? But most recently she was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. She is undergoing chemotherapy every 2 weeks, most likely for the rest of her life.

<div>Supporting a friend going through chemotherapy is incredibly important because it helps them feel less isolated during one of the toughest times of their life. Chemotherapy can be physically exhausting and emotionally overwhelming, often leaving patients feeling vulnerable and alone. By offering consistent support—whether through listening, helping with daily tasks, providing transportation, or simply being present—you remind your friend that they don’t have to face the journey by themselves. Your encouragement can boost their emotional resilience, reduce stress, and give them strength to keep fighting. Small gestures of care and compassion can make a profound difference, helping them maintain hope and a sense of normalcy despite the challenges of treatment.
