Dear friends and family:
Stacy Wilcox, wife, mother, sister and dear friend, recently suffered a stroke at the age of 47. The stroke left her with a severe vision impairment—she is unable to see a full field of vision—and, while she works in human resources, the position demands a great deal of computer work, which she is unable to do in her current condition.
While her insurance has covered most of the hospital emergency expenses, unfortunately her follow-up care demands many co-pays and visual therapy for her sight, which is not covered by insurance. The doctors have said there is a chance for her eyesight to come back fully, partially, or not at all—her chances would be greatly increased by receiving this therapy.
Stacy, who fully financially supports her family at this time, is a responsible, loving, hard working wife and mother of three beautiful daughters, ages 9-14. Any missed work will be creating a financial hardship as well—and not receiving the visual therapy could, again, impact her the rest of her life.
Please consider a donation—the funds will go toward her doctor co-pays and visual therapy needs, and will ultimately help this wonderful family in this dire time of need.
