<div>As a Nepali living abroad, I watched the protests in Nepal and their aftermath with heartbreak. Young students and ordinary citizens rose bravely against corruption, demanding a fairer future. They stood unarmed, yet their voices were met with bullets. Seventy-one people lost their lives. Thousands were left injured — many of them young students, far from their families in villages or with parents working abroad.

<div>I have no personal or family relation to the injured, but I have a deep national bond with them. They are my people. They fought for a just Nepal, and my community here in the UK trusts me to stand for them in this difficult time. That is why I am taking this responsibility with full accountability.

<div>I will be traveling to Nepal next week, and before I celebrate any festival with my own family, my first priority will be to personally meet these injured protesters. Wherever possible, I will hand over your donations directly to the victims. Every distribution will be documented with photos, videos, and receipts, which I will share openly for full transparency.

<div>If there are situations where I cannot reach the victims personally, the funds will be coordinated with Ashika Tamang, who has been working on the ground since the very beginning to support the injured. Ashika is widely trusted and has proven dedication to this cause.
