Nathaniel Mitchell is a people's person, outgoing, life of the party. He is 30 years old and works hard to provide for himself and his two fur babies: Gypsie and Freya, while living with me and my husband.

He has been fighting brain cancer for over two years, Juvenile Diabetes (Type 1 Diabetes), hyperthyroidism, and an infection that has left a "gaping hole" in his stomach (4cm deep, 7cm wide, 10cm long). For the past four years he has struggled to find an Endocrinologist (diabetic doctor) which has made controlling his blood sugar extremely difficult as it has already led to severe diabetic ketoacidosis. He is neuropathy is affecting his ability to stand and walk for long periods of time, and muscle spasms in his throat is causing his ability to eat and drink to be a chore. Between the infection, diabetes, and cancer, he has missed a lot of work and has limited movement due to a wound vac which has affected his income and ability to keep up with bills.
