Hello, friends and family, this is Donna Palmer, I’m reaching out as MeLinda’s big sister. My little sister is bravely battling a rare cancer and has lost one of her kidneys as a result of this aggressive cancer.

As difficult as it is to ask others for help, our family needs your support during this challenging time. MeLinda has already undergone three surgeries, with at least one more in the future and completed four rounds of chemotherapy (currently expected to have a total of 6 rounds), and she is unable to work at the moment.

Each round of chemotherapy is administered over five consecutive days, meaning MeLinda must stay at the hospital for her treatments due to the distance from their home to Emory in Atlanta.

The mounting medical expenses and out-of-pocket costs after insurance are becoming overwhelming, adding to the burden on our family. Your support will help cover these expenses and allow MeLinda to focus on what truly matters—her recovery.
