In 2021, Matthew battled brain cancer. It was a long and brutal fight, but he made it through. We were hopeful when he went into remission, but just last month, we got devastating news: the cancer has returned. Now it’s in his spine—and has metastasized —and is spreading rapidly. This is a very aggressive form of cancer. The pain is unbearable, and it’s affecting his ability to move, to sit up, to even get out of bed. He is completely paralyzed from the torso down.

The doctors have done all they can at the hospital. His only option now is to stay at home to be as comfortable as possible.
