 The Core Issue &amp; Public Stand

 The Catalysts: Major Watson publicly spoken out against what he believes are severe constitutional violations by the administration, specifically targeting the launching of unauthorized military actions in Iran without congressional approval. The Demonstrations: On July 1, 2026, he wore his full Air Force uniform on the steps of the U.S. Capitol, holding a sign reading "IMPEACH, CONVICT, REMOVE".

<div>
 He reiterated these criticisms in a highly publicized CNN interview in mid-August.
</div>
<div>
 The Arrests: He has been detained twice by authorities—first at the Capitol by civilian police, and subsequently placed into military pretrial confinement following his media appearances.

 The Military Charges (UCMJ) Because Department of Defense regulations strictly prohibit active-duty troops from engaging in partisan political demonstrations or publicly criticizing civilian leadership in uniform, the Air Force has leveled 10 formal counts against him:
</div>
<div>
 Article 88 (Contempt Toward Officials): He faces three counts of making contemptuous remarks about the Commander-in-Chief. This is an incredibly rare, historically unprecedented charge for an officer of his rank.
</div>
<div>
 Article 92 (Failure to Obey Orders / Dereliction of Duty): Five counts stemming from uniform violations, unauthorized political activity, and refusing specific command orders.
</div>
<div>
 Article 133 (Conduct Unbecoming an Officer): Two counts alleging behavior that compromises his standing as a military leader.

 What Is At Stake? Major Watson is a highly decorated 17-year veteran and an Air Force Academy graduate who is just three years away from his hard-earned retirement. By choosing to honor his constitutional oath over military restrictions, he now faces: A formal General Court-Martial. Years in military prison (the brig) if convicted. A dishonorable or punitive dismissal from the service. Complete forfeiture of his military pay, healthcare, and lifelong retirement benefits.

 How Your Donations Will Help: Major Watson is currently under a strict military gag order and restricted to base. Funds raised through this campaign will go directly toward: Securing specialized civilian and military legal defense counsel to fight the historic court-martial. Living expenses and basic necessities for his family while his pay and future are frozen during the investigation. Supporting advocacy efforts and working to protect service members' constitutional rights.
