<div>Hi, I’m Lex Morales. For years I put everything I had into building The Comedy Joint in Thailand, making sure comedians were paid fairly and audiences had a place to laugh.
</div>
<div>When the dust settled, I was left holding the debt. Not because I didn’t pay — but because I did. Out of my own pocket, I’ve already covered:
</div>
<div>฿100,000 (≈ $2,750 USD) paid to comedians.
</div>
<div>฿130,000 (≈ $3,600 USD) paid to the landlord.
</div>
<div>฿15,000 (≈ $415 USD) paid to employees.
</div>
<div>฿45,000 (≈ $1,250 USD) paid in taxes.
</div>
<div>That’s nearly ฿300,000 (≈ $8,000 USD) I’ve shouldered personally. I kept my promises to others — but it’s left me at a breaking point.
</div>
<div>Why This Matters
</div>
<div>I’m asking because I’m drowning in the debts left behind, and I can’t carry this weight alone anymore. I'm a foreigner in a foreign land.
</div>
<div>This GoFundMe is about survival — giving me the chance to stabilize, recover, and keep living in Thailand without being crushed by what’s left.
</div>
<div>How You Can Help
</div>
<div>Any donation, no matter the size, helps me close this painful chapter. If you can’t contribute financially, I completely understand — even sharing this campaign or posting about it helps spread the word.
</div>
<div>To give you an idea of impact:
</div>
<div>200 THB ($6) → Covers a day of meals.
</div>
<div>1,000 THB ($28) → Covers transport for a week.
</div>
<div>2,500 THB ($70) → Goes directly toward debt repayment.
</div>
<div>5,000 THB ($140) → Covers a full week of living costs while managing debt.
</div>
<div>10,000 THB ($280+) → Helps clear large portions of what’s still owed.
</div>
<div>Final Thoughts
</div>
<div>I’ve always believed comedy is about honesty — and this is me being honest. I’m in a hole I can’t climb out of alone. If you can stand with me, even in a small way, I’ll never forget it.
</div>
<div>Thank you,
</div>
<div>Lex
