<div>As many of you know, our lovely friend, Kelli, suffered a stroke on Monday, June 11th. It was, to say the least, devastating news to hear. It was a long few days but as we all know Kelli has a fighting spirit. Within days she was making great progress—awake, speaking and recognizing all visitors. She has been downgraded medically and on her way out of the ICU. She has started physical therapy and once again showed that she won't let anything keep her down by standing with assistance. We are all thrilled with her progress. Thankful she is on the road to recovery so soon. Everyday she is taking steps forward; soon she will be transferred to UC Davis Rehab Facility. With the move will come added expenses that insurance will not cover. This is where we all can help!
