Join Us In Contributing To Joni’s Fund To Keep Her Home

My name is Maria and I am reaching out to help my cousin Joni.

She is the most loving, hard working, and supportive person. Joni, along with her mom

purchased a home 10 years ago. As the years went by her mom became very sick. 2024 saw

many life challenges for their family. Her mom, Anna, was hospitalized and placed into a coma.

She regained consciousness but was hospitalized again. Her health declined.

Joni came home from work in June of 2024 to find her mom in respiratory distress. Anna

passed away in the ambulance on the way to the hospital.

On July 13th 2024 Joni had a beautiful Memorial Service for Anna. That was an emotionally

difficult period for everyone in the family. Joni was close to her mom and she started feeling

depression. The Holidays came and went. As the New Year started things took another turn.

Joni found herself unemployed and she lost her boyfriend of many years all inside of a few

weeks. She has reached a point now where she is unable to make her house payments and

bills. Every day she applies for any type of job she can find. Joni also attends the local Career

Center and participates in skill classes to help her in her search. Her previous job she had for

over 10 years and is now new to the job market. Very difficult place to be!

Her savings have run out and she is beginning to fall behind on the mortgage, bills, and car

expenses. So many small things are critically important to try to start over such as your phone

bill, gas, insurance...

Our family has been helping as much as everyone can. We are reaching out to help her save

her home. Joni and her mom worked so hard to get their home and Joni wants to stay there.

We have no doubt that she will find a job, it's just a matter of time. Joni has been through so

many life changing events in such a short time.

We ask that you join us in helping Joni keep her home that she loves with all the memories she

has made there. I want my cousin to be able to keep the life she worked so hard for.
