<div>John Boyd has spent decades pouring his time, talent, and heart into supporting kids and adults with developmental and mental health needs. He is the person families call when they are scared, overwhelmed, or at the end of their rope. He is the mentor who helps students believe in themselves again. He is the colleague who shows up early, stays late, and keeps choosing compassion even when the world makes it hard.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>And now he is facing an accusation that is wildly out of character for him. Anyone who knows John can feel how wrong this is. Anyone who has witnessed how he treats the people he serves can recognize the pattern that happens far too often when someone who cares deeply becomes an easy target. It is painful, and it is familiar in ways we wish it were not.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Although he is still receiving a small portion of his regular teacher salary, it barely covers the basics. The sudden legal costs, the emotional strain, and the day-to-day needs of a Vermont winter are far more than one family can shoulder alone. Larissa and the kids are doing everything they can to stay steady, but this is a frightening and destabilizing moment for all of them.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>This family has given so much to their community. Their kindness, their steadiness, and their willingness to show up for others have shaped countless lives. Now they need us. They need relief, support, and space to breathe while they face something they should never have had to face in the first place.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>If you know John, you know the truth of his character. If you know Larissa and the kids, you know the warmth and goodness that live in their home. Please help us wrap around them while they navigate this painful chapter. Your support matters more than you know.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>And any amount is useful! Demonstrating the number of people who care, as well as the actual financial support, will go a long way. Thank you!
