Jake & I have always had a hard time asking for help but the trials that keep coming after us is making us humble and asking for help. Jake has encountered one medical condition after another in the last year in a half and recently a very serious condition has come up and he tested positive for colon cancer (please say a prayer for my husband) 7 months into disability the funds were cut off and during that time his employer terminated his position at work so he tried to get unemployment, however if you can’t work unemployment won’t help you. We’ve reached out to every program for help and we get denied mainly because we don’t have children in the home under 18. You work your whole life paying taxes and when you really need help they deny you. He has a court hearing in July for permanent disability but until then we have very little money coming in. And now we were hit with almost $70k in medical bills due this situation seems impossible to get out of but I know that Jake & I can get through anything as long as we are together. I’m working part time but the pay is much lower than I have ever received. So we are struggling to pay rent let alone just trying to keep the lights on. Any help we can get will be forever grateful and definitely never forgotten. If you can’t help or don’t want to help we totally understand that as well but maybe if you have time you can say a prayer for Jakes health . Thank you.
