I am a mother of three children and on March 4, 2025, my son Arsenio Jackson Jr. was taken from us due to gun violence in Lexington, Kentucky. My son was taken from us without warning or mercy. My heart is shattered and the hearts of my other children are shattered. There are no words to explain the pain I feel of losing Ceno. I did not just lose my son, but I lost a future of memories, milestones, and moments we were supposed to share. The silence left behind is unbearable.

<div>Even in grief, sadness and disappointment I have to continue to care for my other two children’s financial wellbeing, but I have been unable to fully commit to returning to work since the death of Ceno.
