<div>Henry is a former Venezuelan Army Major, husband, business owner, and political asylum applicant currently detained by ICE in Florida. Henry left Venezuela and lived in Argentina for 15 years where he continued his political activism, and eventually sought asylum in the United States after facing additional persecution and safety concerns. Recently, Henry was arrested on a traffic allegation in Florida, the case was immediately dismissed with no conviction. Despite this and having arrived legally, maintaining legal status through TPS (until it was abolished) and a pending immigration court case dated for 2028 as well as a pending petition by his USC wife, ICE detained him and immigration bond was denied. Henry has always been the primary emotional and financial support for our family. His detention has created severe hardship for our household during an already difficult time. We are seeking support for legal fees, detention-related expenses, and family support while we continue fighting for Henry’s release and immigration case.

<div>Henry es un ex Mayor del Ejército Venezolano, esposo, empresario y solicitante de asilo político actualmente detenido por ICE en Florida. Henry salió de Venezuela, vivió en Argentina durante 15 años y finalmente buscó asilo en los Estados Unidos tras enfrentar persecución y preocupaciones de seguridad. Recientemente, Henry fue arrestado bajo una acusación de trafico en Florida, el caso fue desestimado inmediatamente y no hubo ninguna condena. A pesar de esto y haber llegado legalmente, mantenido estatus legal por vías cómo el TPS (antes de su eliminación) y un caso pendiente en la corte de inmigración de fecha 2028, además de una petición por su esposa ciudadana americana, ICE lo detuvo y posteriormente le negaron la fianza migratoria. Henry siempre ha sido el principal apoyo emocional y financiero de nuestra familia. Su detención ha creado una situación muy difícil para nuestro hogar. Estamos buscando apoyo para cubrir gastos legales, costos relacionados con su detención y apoyo familiar mientras continuamos luchando por su liberación y su caso migratorio.
