<div>My name is Eris Salguero, and I am a mother who is fighting for the safety and future of my 6-month-old daughter, Eliana. We are currently at a critical crossroads, and I need your help.
</div>
<div>I came to the U.S. with hopes of a better life for me and my child, but instead, I was deceived and trapped in an abusive relationship. I have been a victim of domestic violence, kept here against my will, and denied the ability to return home to Belize, where my family and support system are. The emotional, physical, and financial toll of this situation has been devastating, and now I face the unimaginable—losing custody of my precious daughter.
</div>
<div>Right now, Eliana and I are living in a domestic violence shelter, but our future remains uncertain. <strong>I am at risk of losing her to my abuser because I am unable to secure stable housing or legally work to provide for her due to my circumstances.</strong> Without proper legal representation, I may not be able to navigate the court system and protect my rights as a mother. The situation is dire, and I can’t do this alone.
</div>
<div>How Your Help Will Make a Difference:
</div>
<div>I am asking for your support to help me cover two critical needs:
</div>
<div>1. <strong>Legal Representation:</strong> The legal battle ahead is complex and costly. With your help, I can hire an attorney to represent me in court and ensure I have the legal support needed to fight for custody of Eliana and my rights as her mother.
</div>
<div>2. <strong>Stable Housing:</strong> A safe and secure home is essential for us to have a chance at a better future. Your donations will help me find a permanent place for Eliana and me, where we can rebuild our lives, free from the threat of abuse.
</div>
<div>Every donation, no matter how small, will bring me one step closer to keeping my daughter safe and giving her a chance at a bright future. I want nothing more than to provide Eliana with the love, security, and stability she deserves, but I can’t do it alone.
</div>
<div>Please consider helping us during this incredibly difficult time. Your generosity will not only help me retain custody of my daughter, but it will also give us the opportunity to start over and heal from the trauma we’ve experienced.
</div>
<div>Thank you for your compassion, your kindness, and for standing with us in this fight for our future.
</div>
<div>With gratitude,
</div>
<div>Eris &amp; Baby Eliana
