On January 29th, the greatest couple I have ever known, My Daddy and Momma, had their lives COMPLETELY SHATTERED with devastating news.... The universes most caring, hardworking, proud, loving, funny, stubborn, Husband, Dad, PawPaw, Brother, Son, Uncle, Nephew, Grandson, Supervisor, Friend, Man. Eddie. Has been diagnosed with inoperable stage 4 metastatic pancreatic cancer that has spread to his liver. Now, anyone who knows My Mom and Dad knows how hard working, loving, caring, and giving they are. If you know them, then you also know how stubborn my Daddy is, lol. Sooooooo, which comes to the reason for this post that I am asking EVERYONE to PLEASE keep as QUIET as possible about this. I am blocking my Daddy and Momma from seeing this. I have set up this gofundme to go towards helping Mom and Dad get through this trying time as financially painlessly as possible so they can focus on my Dad's health and healing and not have to have the worries of the piling medical bills that insurance doesn't cover on top of them not being able to work right now due to Dad's compromised immune system. I am also putting out there the idea my sister in law Joy had for a "gift card food train" to make the hard days suck a little less. Basically if you would like to help out in the way of food you could buy a restaurant gift card and get it to myself, bubbie, or one of the family members to get to me and I am going to put together a cool little train to gift to Mom and Dad to show how much people care for them like they care for everyone else (please sign it if you do send one!) Most importantly I am asking for all of the prayers, good juju, good thoughts and good vibes that all of you can send my Daddy's way. He's a fighter and stubborn as hell and has an army bigger than he knows fighting next to him. I just need everyone to help me rally the troops and speak good thoughts into existence for my Daddy If you have made it through my rambling this far... I want to thank you.
