As most of you know, my dad, Drew Brown, suffered a stroke due to a blood clot in his brain on the evening of June 23rd. He was given medicine to begin to dissolve the clot and then was taken into surgery to remove it around 11:30 Sunday night. The surgery went well, and his physical movements returned almost immediately. He is still struggling somewhat with speech, but that is improving more and more every day. The MRI determined the lasting effects on his brain are very minimal and he is believed to make a full recovery with time.
With that being said, the restrictions that come with being released from the hospital have now taken away his way of providing the supplementation of income needed to maintain their household not covered by his retirement. Kim is also out of school and without income since it's summer. If you know Drew, he is a workaholic and will drop any and everything to help a fellow friend, neighbor, coworker, church member, or complete stranger. They have already experienced such an outpouring of love from people around them but will need help financially to make ends meet the next few months while Drew is unable to work. If you feel led to give, any amount would be extremely appreciated. Lets show them the outpouring of love and giving that they show anyone they come into contact with.
