This is about Dangelo Ball — known to many of us as DLO at the Speedway on Lawrenceville Hwy. But to me, he was so much more than just a coworker. He was my best friend. From the moment I started working there, DLO became my biggest supporter — my hype man.

He’d check on me if I was late, not to get upset, but to make sure I was okay — because he knew me. He knew it wasn’t like me to miss a shift. That’s just the kind of person he was — always looking out for others, always lifting people up.

He made work lighter, funnier, and more bearable, even on the toughest nights. He believed in me when I didn’t believe in myself, and he had this way of making you feel like everything was going to be okay.

DLO wasn’t just a coworker — he was a husband, a father to three amazing little boys, and a friend to everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. He brought joy, laughter, and love wherever he went.

Yesterday, we received heartbreaking news — our beloved DLO passed away in the hospital due to health complications he had been battling for the past few weeks. His passing has left a deep void in all of our hearts.

Right now, his family — especially his wife and three sons — need our support more than ever. If you’re able to donate anything, no matter how small, it would mean the world. Every bit will go toward helping with funeral expenses and supporting his family during this unimaginable time.
