<div><strong>Chloe has been fighting for her life in the PICU.</strong> She flatlined twice and had part of her skull removed to relieve dangerous brain swelling (edema). She has suffered a stroke and many seizures due to the swelling in the brain and has already been in the hospital for almost a month. Doctors say she may need to stay another 1–2 months.

<div>Three weeks into her stay, Chloe faced another emergency. She developed compartment syndrome in her right leg, causing internal bleeding and dying muscle. She had to undergo a 4-compartment fasciotomy to save her leg, and doctors warned that, worst case, if it doesn’t heal, they may have to amputate. She now faces at least two more major surgeries—one for her head and another for her leg.

<div>The father lost his job because he must be at the hospital with Chloe 24/7. Her mother stays home caring for the four children. With no income, <strong>they're struggling to keep up with personal bills while focusing on Chloe’s survival and recovery.</strong>
