Charley Burton, who is beloved by SO many, has been an advocate and activist for the community of Charlottesville and on a national level.

In December, Charley was hospitalized for blood clots in his lungs, which hampered his breathing. His recovery has been rough. Just as Charley was getting back to work as manager of his team at The Federal Executive Institute, he was informed that his job and his entire team had been eliminated by an Executive Order from the Trump Administration.

We'd like to help Charley not exhaust his savings until he gets a job (or his retirement, which he was considering at the end of May) to use for living expenses - and now with no insurance through work - expensive out-of-pocket medical bills and medicine.
