<div>Recently, Carmen suffered a massive stroke that resulted in a severe brain bleed. She spent three intense weeks in the hospital and has now been released into my care at home. While we’re grateful she’s home, her recovery journey is just beginning.

<div>Carmen is currently facing major cognitive and physical challenges. The bleeding in her brain is still a serious concern and may require surgical intervention. She will need extensive therapy, rehabilitation, and continued medical care for the foreseeable future.
