 On Saturday, August 22nd, our lives changed in an instant when my fiancé, Brian, was involved in a motocross accident that left him with a broken back and broken ribs. He is now facing surgery and what we know will be a long and difficult road to recovery.

 Brian has always been the person who works hard to take care of our family. For the past two years, he has financially supported our household and worked hard to allow me to stay home with our two-year-old son. Being home with our son has meant the world to me, but it also means I don't have the ability to simply step into a typical full-time weekday job and immediately replace the income we are now going to be without.

 Right now, our biggest concern is Brian's health and getting him through surgery and recovery. But alongside that comes the reality of medical bills, regular household bills, and the financial uncertainty that comes with him being unable to work.

 This is incredibly difficult for me to ask for help with. We are used to working hard and figuring things out on our own, but right now we could really use some support from our family, friends, and community.
