<div>Hello, my name is Bernice, and I need your support ever so badly! I am a part-time senior home health care worker and a lifelong devout member of the Christian faith. Believing in the principle "I am my brother's keeper," I signed over 50% of my home because my brother needed a place to stay and was in a financial bind. At that time my 93-year-old father had dementia, and the family was dealing with Adult Protective Services regarding changes in his Living Trust, and the passing away of our father in 2016. My sibling goes to a predatory lender in 2017 &amp; maximizes a loan on half of the house. He defaults and next thing I know, half my house was in foreclosure. I did not have the privilege of knowing until it was way too late and beyond my control. I had no idea I was signing a grant deed giving him 50% equity in my home.

<div>I am reaching out to those who have ever been wronged by a family member, a predatory lender, or the legal system, asking for your help in my fight to keep my home.

<div>Here’s My Story in a Nutshell:

<div>· My Brother betrayed our agreement, got a loan from a predatory lender, who had been sanctioned by the Department of Real Estate.

<div>· He defaulted and his 50% share of the house was sold at a foreclosure sale.
</div>

</div>
<div>· A buyer, who acquired his 50% share, sued. The judge allowed him to partition the house and appointed a Receiver to sell my 50% of the house without considering me.
</div>

</div>
<div>This buyer, with only 50% ownership, is now forcing me out of the home I grew up in and still live in, which is not right. He’s encumbering the property with various expenses and charges. To save my home, I must secure a mortgage and buy out the trustee sale buyer.
</div>

<div>I DO NOT WANT TO LEAVE MY HOME OF 50 YEARS!
