<div>Andrew, a 29-year-old father from Clio, Michigan, was recently in a devastating car accident caused by a mechanical failure. He was ejected from the vehicle, suffered multiple serious injuries, and is now in intensive care — sedated, intubated, and recovering far from home.

<div>This isn’t just a medical crisis — it’s a financial one, too.

<div>Andrew, like many of us, depends on his ability to work to support his two young daughters. Due to the accident, he’ll be unable to earn income for the foreseeable future.

<div>At the same time, his close family — including his parents and siblings — have taken time off work and are facing significant out-of-pocket expenses to be by his side at a hospital hours from home.
