My name is  Amanda, a proud black southern mom, one of Atlanta’s trailblazing female pit masters, and the owner of Amanda’s BarBeeQue. I started this business in 2017 to support my family, share great food made from my family’s secret Georgia-style BBQ sauce recipe, and give back to our community.

It’s part of my family’s history, and it means everything to me. But now, Mattel claims my business name is too close to their famous “Barbie” doll, and they’re trying to stop me from using it.
