My name is Wade Burleson. I am the pastor of Emmanuel Enid, Oklahoma. Lt. Col. Matthew Lohmeier received his student pilot training for the United States Air Force in Enid at Vance Air Force Base and then later served as an Instructor Pilot (IP) at VAFB. Lt. Col. Lohmeier is a family man (wife Sara and three small children), an American Patriot, and a devoutly religious person.
In the fall of 2020, Lt. Col. Lohmeier became the Commander of the 11th Space Warning Squadron at Buckley Air Force Base, Colorado. His unit was tasked with detecting ballistic missile launches from space. On Thanksgiving Day, 2020, President Donald Trump called Commander Lohmeier and thanked him and his crew for their service and congratulated them for participating in the first Thanksgiving ever celebrated by the newly created United States Space Force.
On May 10, 2021, Lt. Col. Lohmeier's book, Irresistible Revolution: Marxism's Goal of Conquest and the Unmaking of the American Military, was published. The book entered the market #1 in its category. Commander Lohmeier writes compellingly on the history of Marxism in the Frankfurt School and how the Frankfurt Marxist scholars fled Germany under Hitler, coming to America. Many of the German Marxists from Frankfurt became professors at Columbia University. Commander Lohmeier shows how these Marxist scholars wrote the original materials that have become the sources for the new diversity training materials that are being mandated at universities, corporations, and even the U.S. military. Marxism's emphasis on forced equality, according to Commander Lohmeier, becomes the enemy of merit and advancement by exceptional performance. If left unchecked, Marxism will destroy the historical values of the American Republic and the principles represented in America's Constitution, not to mention America's military. Thus, marxism is an existential threat to the United States. Commander Lohmeier took an oath to defend the United States Constitution against enemies "both foreign and domestic." He is highly trained by the United States military and deems Marxism an enemy of the United States Constitution.
On Friday, May 14, 2021, three days after the book's release, Lt. Gen. Stephen Whiting relieved Commander Lohmeier of his duties at U.S. Space Command due to "a loss of confidence in his ability to lead" (Source: MilitaryCom ). The removal of Commander Lohmeier came after he appeared on a podcast where he clearly explained his purpose in writing the book. Lt. Col. Lohmeier's sworn duty is to protect the United States, and he only wished to help Americans dialogue about the issues without impugning specific persons.
