Hi, my name is Faye Adams and I started this campaign to help my niece, Rhonda Adams, who was first diagnosed with breast cancer in June 2014.
As a single parent, Rhonda fought her way through Chemo and radium treatments, while always being there for her 13 year old daughter. The road wasn’t an easy one, emotionally or financially, but she was strong and made it through the last treatment and was finally declared cancer-free.
In June 2017, just before her 50th birthday, Rhonda had to leave work with terrible pains in her abdomen and was operated on later that afternoon for appendicitis. In the days following the operation, she became nauseated and lost her appetite, but continued to make it to work. As the symptoms worsened, she returned to see her doctor and so the tests began.
Unfortunately on September 28, 2017, Rhonda was devastated when she once again received the sad news that the cancer was back, but this time in the stomach. She was hospitalized on October 12th and will be starting hormone therapy and chemo treatments this week.
Rhonda will need both your emotional and financial support to help her get through this difficult time for a second time.

Bonjour, je m'appelle Faye Adams et j'ai commencé cette campagne pour aider ma nièce, Rhonda Adams, qui a été diagnostiquée pour la première fois avec un cancer du sein en juin 2014. En tant que mère- monoparentale, Rhonda a reçu des traitements de chimiothérapie et de radiothérapie tout en étant toujours présente pour sa fille de 13 ans. La route n'était pas facile, émotionnellement ni financièrement, mais elle était forte et a passé à travers le dernier traitement et a finalement été déclarée sans cancer.
En juin 2017, juste avant son 50e anniversaire, Rhonda a dû quitter le travail avec des douleurs fortes dans son abdomen et a été opérée plus tard cet après-midi là pour l'appendicite. Dans les jours qui ont suivi l'opération, elle est devenue nauséeuse et a perdu l'appétit, mais elle a continué à travailler. Comme les symptômes se sont aggravés, elle est retournée voir son médecin et les tests ont commencé.
Malheureusement, le 28 septembre 2017, Rhonda a été dévastée quand elle a de nouveau reçu la triste nouvelle que le cancer était de retour, mais cette fois dans l'estomac. Elle a été hospitalisée le 12 octobre et commencera une thérapie hormonale et des traitements de chimiothérapie cette semaine.
Rhonda aura besoin de votre soutien émotionnel et financier pour l'aider à traverser cette période difficile pour la deuxième fois.
