Stand Up For Chad

As many of you know, our family has been going through some things as of late. My big brother, Chad, was taken to the ER a couple weeks ago after experiencing some alarming symptoms. It took several tests in Martin, Jackson, and Vanderbilt before they were able to give us a real diagnosis. We were told Chad has a tumor on his brain. A biopsy was done. It's called an astrocytoma. We are still waiting to be told what grade it is, but the doctors have told us that it is cancerous. It is not believed to be curable, BUT it IS treatable. Arrangements are being made to begin radiation therapy and possibly chemo in Paducah as soon as possible. My brother is tough, strong, and stubborn. We're going to fight this thing and get through it. But we're going to need some help. Medical bills, time off from work, travel expenses, etc... these things are going to add up quickly. I don't want Chad, Shannon, or their children to have anything more to worry about during this time. Money should be the last thing on Chad's mind. I don't want him to even think about it. I want to do any and every thing I can to help my brother because I know if the roles were reversed he would do anything for me. I'm admittedly ignorant about all this. I don't really know what I'm doing. Which is why I'm reaching out for help. Whatever you can give would be great. And if you can't give, we completely understand. Just sharing this could help tremendously. Thoughts and prayers are much appreciated as well. We need encouraging thoughts and positive vibes! Again, thanks for any help provided.
