Mexico De Pie- Stand in Solidarity!

As we all know or heard by now, there has been devesting events happening around the world. In this case, Mexico City has been hit with two big earthquakes that have rattled the city in the past month. The second quake hit closer to the city. This has caused buildings to collapse and people left without shelter, food, or water.
For those of you that don't know my background. My name is Maria-Jose. (M.J.) I live in Orange County area.
I was born in Mexico City. Most of my family still resides in this great city. Fortunately, my family is safe. However, there is alot of need for those that are less fortunate. One of my nieces, and thousands of others have been helping out, clearing the rubble, volunteering their time. Blanca, my niece, sent me the following message through WhatsApp:
and I quote, "Hola Familia, disculpen la hora, (she sent this to us 9/20/17 at 3:27a.m. Mexico time) voy llegando a casa, muy triste, estuve ayudando en los derrumbes, de verdad es muy desolador, ver como esta nuestra ciudad, como saber que en un segundo se te puede ir la vida, ya nisiquiera lo material. Espero que en verdad tomen un momento de su dia, y vayan a donar o llevar cuerda, o picos, cubetas, se necesitan mucho. Pero mas, la ayuda en verdad es increible como la gente se organiza y hacen equipo para salir adelante, como se hacen cadenas para accarear cubetas con escombros, o despensa o agua. Estoy muy triste y adolorida, pero no importa, hay que ayudar. Descansen y en verdad ayuden, se necesita mucho."
With this said, I am asking for your help! I am not one to ask for much and I've never done such a thing as GoFundMe, but, Mi Mexico, Tu Mexico, NUESTRO MEXICO, necesita de todos en estos momentos.
I have personally spoken to Blanca. I will take responsibility of transfering funds to her in Mexico City. She will take responsibility of purchasing food, water and tools to continue the efforts in this great time of need. She has vowed to show proof of tickets and take pictures of items bought to assist the people in need.
I will appreciate any help for this cause!!
