Hello, many of you know Kim and I go back to the first day of high school. She is the first one that said hello to me and calmed my high school jitters. Turns out to be one of the most life-changing days for me because Kim would turn up and turn out for me and my family throughout my life. Kim has been there for me through it all.

I am asking if you will join me to help me raise funds for Kim, who is battling a very aggressive form of Triple-Negative Breast Cancer (TNBC) with lymphoma that has metastasized to her bones and her skull. If you know Kim, she is courageous, brilliant, fun, loving, caring, and she would go to great lengths to help a stranger, a friend, or an animal in distress!

Kim is currently living alone, hours away from family and friends, and is caring for herself. She is trying to work, but between therapies, being in pain, and very ill, she has not been able to get the hours in needed to cover bills. She has already endured many rounds of chemotherapy and other treatments and is waiting on double mastectomy surgery, radiation therapy, among many other appointments and testing. Kim's insurance through work changed at the same time she was diagnosed, so insurance is not helping with many needs. She has also been driving herself to appointments, urgent hospital visits, treatments, and getting groceries, etc.

Anyone who knows her also knows that she is not one to ask for help, but she’s currently facing one of the most aggressive forms of breast cancer, Triple-Negative Breast Cancer (TNBC), and she needs us. While she’s courageously battling this disease, we’re hoping to give her every possible chance at healing, both through traditional care and the advanced, integrative therapies that have shown real promise. Sadly, most of these options are not covered by insurance.
