I am raising money to go towards my daughter’s recovery after a horrific car accident. She was hit head on by a drunk driver on Friday, pinned in the car requiring amazing firefighters and medics to do their best and get her out after an hour, causing significant injuries (broken arm and leg in which the bones came through the skin, broken knees, and deep lacerations that left pieced of metal and plastic in her flesh/muscles). Her hospital stay has included back to back days of surgeries, blood transfusions, severe pain and infections. Unfortunately, Jamie’s job doesn’t offer short term disability, nor sick time and the other driver was uninsured so the road to recovery will not only be extremely painful and difficult but will now have many expenses with no income. I may be biased because she is my daughter but I know that she is one of the kindest and selfless people that would help everyone she could. Believe me when I say that when she’s not in the hospital taking care of her patients, that heart of hers is doing whatever it can to help others.

I’m hoping this gofund me can alleviate many of the financial stresses so she can solely focus on walking again and eventually getting back to her nursing job.
