Greeting, many of you know me, some don't but do know my friend. My name is Marc Hodge. My life-long friend, Curt Hustedde has recently been diagnosed with stage three cancer. As much as it was as surprise to Curt and his family it has been an overwhelming surprise to his family and those who love him. Each of us know someone affected by cancer. It is ugly and shows no respect for color, age, or stage. But we also know we serve a mighty God who also shows love, mercy and miracles to those who trust his will to be done. I am asking each of you to step in an assist me with helping Curt's battle. Not to go in-depth but Curt has been a loyal city of Harrisburg employee for over fifteen years. Not just an employee but a servant, a police Officer and promotion to Sergeant. No greater gift than a man willing to lay his life down for his community. Curt has been both the server and protector. Now we can serve him in a small way. Maybe he assisted or aided you in your time of need. I know my friend and I have no doubt you were treated respectfully and professionally. Curt is in a situation where he has no benefits, no insurance and unable to work. So here we are. Let's reach out together under God's guidance and fight with Curt. So let's help Curt, his wife Melanie and two children.
