My daughter, Brittany, had to put her beloved dog down on June 23rd due to cancer, and then unexpectedly, her husband passed on June 26th. Her husband had some life insurance, but because of his manner of death, an autopsy had to be performed, delaying the issuance of the death certificate for up to 6 months, and thus the insurance payment. She wants to stay in the house that she and her husband lived in. She is now faced with all the bills herself. She is already behind on her house payments. She is in a very hard place right now and the thought of losing her house is adding to the grief and stress she is already enduring. My wife and I have been trying to help her, but being retired, our funds are limited.
