Need a Stair lift for my mom, Margit Lambert

My mother was just diagnosed with a brain tumor called glioma.  A little about my mom. She traveled here at 22 with 2 small children from Germany in 1967 with her American  Army husband and not much more. They worked hard to make a good life. We never had a lot but didn't want for much either. She grew up Very poor in a post war Germany with a single mother and 2 sisters. She made sure we had the best childhood because she didn't. Now it's my turn to take care of her. She lives on the second floor and will have trouble going up and down stairs when she's able to come home in order to go for her radiation treatments. We are very proud family and would normally never ask but the cost for a stair lift is astronomical and insurance does not cover it. We will also need to update the bathroom, most likely need a hospital type bed and God knows what else to be sure she has the care she needs. All I want is for my mom to have the best life she can have for the time she has.  If there are extra funds when this is all done I will donate those to Dana-Farber Cancer institute in her name.
