<div>Stafford Riverway Link is a non-profit Community Interest Company whose volunteers are aiming to restore a historical link, created in the early 1800s and operating until the 1920s, between the Staffordshire &amp; Worcestershire Canal and the River Sow. This will enable narrowboats to once again navigate into the centre of Stafford, a boost also for local tourism.

<div>Work is well advanced on restoring the mooring basin and planning approval has been given to complete this, open the Canal into the Basin and construct a footbridge over this opening.
</div>

<div>Funding is needed for the building materials to complete the Basin walls, towpath bridge, ecological, wildlife friendly landscaping around the site and footpaths suitable for the disabled.
</div>

<div>We want to recreate a piece of Stafford's history for the benefit of all local people.
