Staff Relief Tukka Eagle Rays Taco Cantina

It’s no secret that Cayman is my second home and we have made incredible friends that have become our Cayman Family.  This includes the dedicated staff of Tukka, Eagle Rays & Taco Cantina restaurants. Those of you that have spent time with us here, know how special a meal is with this amazing group.

As you can imagine, this crazy pandemic has strongly impacted this group as they are not able to work.  Unlike the majority of us who are able to ride this out in the comforts of our own homes with our loved ones, most of the staff were not able to return to their home countries due to strict travel restrictions and the sudden airport closure.  There are a total of 38 staff from 14 different countries that have little to no funds to pay the high rental costs and are struggling to buy groceries.

The owners at Tukka will not take any monetary funds from this fundraising effort.

Lana (co-owner) and I  will work closely together to distribute the funds to all of the staff who desperately need it.  We will work with each staff to make sure they have a safe place to live that they have healthy food to eat, and any other essential items are covered.

Please donate to help keep roofs over their heads and food on their plates. Any amount will make a significant difference to this special group of people.

We will keep all donors up-to-date with stories and photos of exactly how your donations are going to help each and every staff member.
