STaff of Achilles Heel Relief Support

DO things with LOVE.  If there is one thing that comes to mind during these times when our stamina and capacity to endure, adapt,  and change are required, it is the spirit with which the team at Achilles Heel brings love and laughter to their job, to each other, and to the public with sincerity and silliness.  Both are needed.  It is all required.  This small team is full of familiar faces that serve the neighborhood with love and laughter.  Less than 20 people make up this corner restaurant. We truly support each other and think of this place as our own.     Countless people make it their home.  It is a pride in work, and a care for one another that is impressive and with LOVE.  On days off, we frequently find each other, or appear on the other side of the bar to continue to spend time together, to spend time with you and support one another. 

This week many of the staff will exhaust their Paid Time Off  Benefits.  It is true, our system is failing many working class, and bogged down by the current state of affairs unemployment has never shouldered so many requests and the system can not shoulder the need. On behalf of this team that I have worked with for years we would love to reach out to our community to help.  Any amount helps.  Even if it just the amount of one cocktail you would prefer to be having with us at Achilles Heel.  We would prefer that too.  We all miss sitting by the fire while records are being played.  The experiences we have there are timeless and priceless.  We know they will continue.  Every dime you donate will be split evenly between  all staff, from porters to cooks to bartenders etc. both front and back of the house.   This place would not be what it is without each of them and each of you.  Thank you in advance for looking out for these ST.A.H.R.S..  As we count the days we must also make them count.   Thank you Achilles Heel for making it count, and thank you friends and family for your support.
