Stacy's Medical Expenses

My daughter, Stacy Olson, is a young mother of two children, Chase and Raine.  She is lovingly supported by her husband and their father, Dan Olson.  During the past 9 years Stacy has had continous pain caused by her deteriorating pancreas.  Her condition was not diagnosed until August 2015 as chronic pancreatitis, but in preceding eight years she had numerous examinations and testing with no diagnosis.  In the past year she has had ten surgeries and is now scheduled to have her pancreas and spleen removed early in 2018.

Through these years Stacy has continued working and being a loving wife and mother.  However, her pain has been continuous and despite medications to relieve the pain, nausea, and loss of sleep she has suffered excruciating pain. 

Stacy and Dan work for the same employer in Maple Grove, Minnesota.  Her employer has been very supportive, but their medical insurance has been increasingly resistant to paying claims.  As a result, Stacy and Dan have the further stress of accumulating medical bills and Stacy's loss of pay which appears to be well in excess of $150,000.

My daughter and son-in-law are good, hardworking  parents who are concerned that their family survive this crisis.  Dan has been a rock of stability and lovingly supports Stacy.  

Stacy lives with constant abdominal pain frequent nausea both of which cause her not to be able to sleep well.  In spite of their problems, she and her family still have a sense of humor and joy emanating from their life together.  

I am setting up this account to help raise money for Stacy's present and future medical costs and to offset her loss of income.  As you can well imagine, they have had problems getting their insurance company to pay for costly procedures.  The deductibles have been high and to date we do not know the exact amounts owed for all of these procedures, drugs, and those for the pending surgery.
