Stacy's Breast Cancer Recovery Fund

This GoFundMe campaign was created to help my sister, Stacy Hunt, with financial assistance so she can focus all of her energy on treatment and recovery after being diagnosed with Stage 3 Breast Cancer.

Throughout my life Stacy has been a source of love and happiness for me, my family, and almost everyone who has had the pleasure of being around her. In the wake of this sudden detour, she has kept her spirits high and her humor intact, which will make all the difference in a quick and successful recovery. With our help, Stacy can also have some peace of mind in knowing that she will not be financially compromised after this temporary obstacle is well in her past. 


Stacy currently has two large masses in her right breast which have progressed into her lymph nodes. Since being diagnosed a few weeks ago, the treatment has been aggressive to combat the advancing growth rate of the cancer.  After a barrage of scans and tests, Stacy started chemotherapy this week, which is scheduled for up to six months, in order to reduce and better contain the lymph node masses, prior to surgery. The next step is a double mastectomy and reconstruction, followed by radiation therapy. We are grateful for every donation and thank you all so much for your help.

Although the purpose of this campaign is to raise money, not everyone has the ability to contribute. This can also be a great tool for emotional support through comments and connections.
