I met Stacy 9 years ago through her daughter, Courtney. One thing became evident right away - Stacy was a special kindred soul!!
Last night God called another angel home, her journey here on earth has come to its end. As I drove to her house to get her children I realized I never told her how special she really was. I did not know the stress Stacy had been under for the last few months, having lost her job, insurance, & life insurance. Stacy internalized everything, she is the glue that kept her family together. She was a strong determined woman, she was not about to lay down and take any kind of defeat.
As I sat and listened to Eugene talk about how she was his best friend & where does he go from here, I realized are any of us prepared for the end? In this case having lost her job Stacy was no longer prepared, which is a very harsh reality to the family she has left behind.
Eugene is facing the fact that he now has to bury his soulmate & mother of their 4 children! I am asking for you all to come together & help me help him prepare for the future without his life partner. He will need help with her funeral, creamation/burial, and what comes next - life without Stacy. I know finacially they were not prepared, so as friends & family we need to come together and help him - Stacy would have wanted us to help even if she would not ask for it!
