Chad and Stacia Worley have had a very challenging time. In November 2015, Stacia suffered a stroke which ultimately resulted in her termination from her job in February 2016. Since that time, she has been drawing disability while her husband Chad continued to work. Unfortunately, things only got worse for this couple. In February 2017, Chad suffered 3 heart attacks which required 3 stints. Inspite of mounting medical bills and loss of work, Chad and Stacia managed to make it through this time. However, Stacia has recently been diagnosed with Tripple Negative Breast cancer. She has started the first of 6 chemo treatments that she takes every other week. She then faces 14 weeks of weekly chemo treatments followed by an unknown amount of radiation and possible surgeries. Needles to say the cost of these life saving treatments are astronomical! She has a medication that she is required to take after each chemo treatment that cost $8751 a DOSE! In addition to Stacia’s medical issues, Chad went into AFIB (his heart stopped) which resulted in him collapsing. He was rushed to the hospital and had surgery to place a defibrillator in his heart to prevent future episodes. Chad is once again out of work to recover leaving Stacia’s disability check as the families only income. This monthly check is their only means to provide for food, utilities, house payment, and necessary medicines for both.
