Join Stacey's fight against cancer

Donation protected

We have been successful in lifting the financial burden of cancer treatment off Stacey's shoulders, so she can concentrate her energies on her health and her sweet family. Happy early birthday, Stacey!

Deepest gratitude to everyone who contributed with donations, good wishes, encouragement and prayers. While the financial goal has been met, you can still cheer her on. If you would like to follow Stacey, please head over to the Facebook StaceyStrong group at

Original message:

Stacey is fighting stage 3 rectal cancer "“ we can help! Let's get her medical bills paid by her birthday on April 30th.

Anyone who knows Stacey Wilson could tell you that she's bubbly, caring, positive, and the best friend you could hope for. You'd also know that she's married to the love of her life, Tim, and has two amazing little girls who love their mommy to the moon and back (even more than they love Justin Bieber). And she has cancer.

Stacey was diagnosed with stage 3 rectal cancer in the fall of 2012.  An unexpected and unwelcome diagnoses for an otherwise healthy 35 year old. Surgery has removed a section of her colon and now she is undergoing aggressive chemotherapy.  Chemo isn't easy on her, but somehow she manages to keep her doctors and nurses laughing.

Both Stacey and Tim have full time jobs, but fighting cancer is unbelievably expensive.  Her out of pocket expenses for the current treatment plan are topping $15,000.  Medical bills are mounting and are a source of worry, when all of her energies should be concentrated on reclaiming her health, enjoying her sweet family and working at a job she loves.

When someone is sick, people ask "What can I do to help?".

Stacey's 36th birthday is April 30th.  Wouldn't it be a beautiful gift if we could come together and lift the burden of medical bills off her shoulders?

$15,000 is a lot of money.  You bet it is.  But it is also $25 from 600 people.  Or $50 from 300 people.  We can do this and you can be sure that one day Stacey will pay it forward.

Please give what you can, and pass it on.   Post this to your Facebook, tweet it, blog it and give Stacey a great birthday.
