With a heavy heart we shared the news earlier this week of the sudden and tragic passing of Cluney Prince. His death leaves a gaping hole in the hearts of all of us, as he played such an important role in all our lives.
After retirement, together with his wife Margie, he returned home to Newfoundland in June 2012. Cluney worked in recent years towards a new goal of becoming a layminister, and succeeded in 2016.
Always thinking of the future and growth of his local church, Cluney became a community leader. Together with others, his efforts included the establishment of the St. Thomas Guardian Cemetary Fund where we laid him to rest just yesterday.
Any contribution is truly appreciated, and we sincerely thank you for helping to support his vision of a prosperous church and cemetary in his hometown of Charleston.
