St Patrick's Kerala Flood Relief

Beginning on 15 August 2018, severe floods affected the south Indian state of Kerala, due to unusually high rainfall during the monsoon season. It was the worst flooding in Kerala in nearly a century. Over 483 people died.

Many of St Patrick's children and community come from the Kerala region and have personally been affected by the disaster.  St Patrick's have adopted the Kerala Flood Relief as their sole cause for fundraising activities throughout the 18/19 school year.

Our first event, an Indian street food and dancing evening, raised over £1000 and we are now looking to double this.

We hope people will be able to make any donations either small or large towards our appeal.

Please watch this powerful video of the devastation caused.
