The SMS Cougars Athletic Team of The St. Michael School, Barbados, has proven itself to be the #1 Secondary School Athletic Team in Barbados by capturing the DOUBLE TITLE at the Barbados Secondary Schools' Athletic Championships, 2018.
In addition to its local achievements, this year, 10 of their senior athletes will be representing Barbados in the Bahamas in April at the CARIFTA Games, a regional meet.
The next step for the senior members of the team is exposure to international competition and to potential recruits for scholarship opportunities. It is with this goal in mind that thirteen U17 and U20 athletes will be participating in the Bojangles Track & Field Classic in Columbia, South Carolina on April 13 & 14, 2018.
HOW YOU CAN HELP:
Your assistance is needed in covering the cost of transportation and accommodation for the delegation of 13 athletes and 3 coaches. This target deadline is April 11, 2018.
