St. George & St. Mercurius Church

The Coptic Church of St. George & St. Mercurius is looking to build a new church to accomodate the growing community. Your donation will help us secure the funds to build this new center that will serve all of the Niagara Region. The church began as a small group of 10 families who immigrated to Canada to build a new home in the Niagara Region. The community began to grow and we purchased this land in 2001 hoping to build a new church that will serve the future generations. We have reached our capacity for our existing building and we are in need of a larger facility. We have adequat space for our new projects but we need your help to secure the loan. We need to secure $500,000 by the end of May 2018. The city of St. Catharines has welcomed the project and has labelled it as a new and exciting "Landmark" for the city. It will serve the community by offering services to the Niagara Region by having a large cafeteria and a gym that will host tournaments and local fundraisers in the community.
