<div>Here in this little city of Cornelia in Northeast Georgia, GOD is doing amazing things!   Everyday we see how this small parish in the mountains is reaching out to people both near and far.  We have made great strides with this project to renovate this old, abandoned and neglected school building into a beautiful witness of the LOVE of GOD!  Here at St. Dominic’s Chapel, we offer religious education, faith formation, ESOL, even the wonder of the Eucharist, but we are also able to host weddings and receive pilgrims on their way to other destinations.  The St. Dominic Project is full of the Life-giving Spirit of the Risen Lord!

<div>So much has been accomplished already!  The biggest thing is that the roof has been replaced.  Additionally, the facade of the front wall is redone, the interior framing and insulation is completed as is the installation of new AC units.  However, there is still so much to do. Right now our focus is on the electrical wiring, plumbing and drywalling.  Additionally, we are adding the exterior windows and doors.

All of us are being asked to go beyond our comfort zone and be a part of something much bigger than ourselves. This chapel will be able to sing the Glory of God for years to come.
