Hello For those of you that don’t know us, my name is Karen and my husband’s name is Mark. We started putting lights up about 20 years ago when my mum bought us our first light for our little flat. It was a light-up flashing train. It has had its day and is now retired, resting in the loft Since then, every year we have brought new additions, and it has got bigger and bigger every year My mum passed away a few years ago. She loved the lights and seeing them with the grandkids, so it’s nice to shine them extra bright for my lovely mum ⭐️ We absolutely love doing our display and seeing the house lit up. It brings not only us happiness but passers-by too Mark does a fantastic job, and I’m very proud of him ⭐️ But it does make me nervous when he's up the ladder ‍♀️

Last year, for the first time, we thought we would do a bit of fundraising for the local primary school and raised £150, which was lovely ⭐️ So we thought we would do it again this year! Thank you for any spare pennies you might have
