St. Christina Mission Trip 2018

St. Christina's mission team is made up of 30 hard working, faithful and inspiring high school young adults, college students and adults. This year, our mission is to go to Puerto Rico June 10-16 to do God's work for the people who were affected by Hurricane Maria that struck the island on September 20, 2017, killing 55 of it's people and destroying a majority of their country. The money raised will cover airfare, van rental and supplies. We estimate it will cost around $600/person (if not more). As a team we work throughout the year to do other sorts of fundraising as well through St. Christina's parish, including bingo, rummage sale, Chritmas wreath sales and collections at mass. Our group is the hardest working team, as shown by our previous mission trips, and have been volunteering our time to work with with those affected by natural disasters for 20 years.
